Standard 2 Mathematics

Biography: I'm passionate about empowering students, both academically and personally. Holding a BSc. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, I'm eager to make a difference.

My academic journey at Presentation College Chaguanas (2014-2021) was incredibly fruitful, thanks to my inspiring teachers. I earned all ones at the CSEC level, achieving distinctions in Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and English A, alongside ones in Spanish and HSB.

CAPE presented further challenges and rewards, as I was able to achieve distinctions in both units of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as a one in Communication Studies.

I remember watching Kerwin Springer’s Youtube videos in the humble beginnings of the Student Hub, and how much they would’ve helped me. I’m grateful to now be a contributor to the Student Hub, currently as the Standard 2 Mathematics teacher.

Standard 3 Mathematics

Biography: Kerwin Springer, Director of The Student Hub, empowers students through his 150K + follower YouTube channel. Educated at La Horquetta North, St. Mary's Anglican, and Presentation College, he developed a passion for music, art, and video editing early on.

 As an educator, he has taught Biology, Chemistry, IT, and Mathematics, reaching millions online. Starting his teaching career with free lessons in Trinidad, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has taught at three secondary schools while authoring educational resources like The Question Bank and SBA Bank for CSEC Maths.

Standard 3 Mathematics

Biography  : I have been teaching at Student Hub since 2020. Prior to that, I taught various subjects at the CSEC level, lower secondary level, and lower primary school level as a personal tutor, then as a contracted teacher with a private school.

Our class experience is designed to be fun and engaging, incorporating quizzes and various activities throughout the live sessions to keep students' attention while they learn the course material.

Qualifications:

• BSc. in Computer Science & Management (First Class Honours)
• 7 years of teaching experience (personal tutor & private sector)

Standard 2 & 3 English Language & Creative Writing

Biography: In 2021, I started teaching at Student Hub. In fact, I was the very first SEA English Language Arts and Creative Writing teacher at the Hub. Shortly after, I started teaching SEA Mathematics alongside Mr. Kerwin Springer.

I look forward to our journey together as we prepare for the SEA.
